Dual is one of the most respected brands in the hi-fi world. Dual’s heritage goes back to 1900 where the original company was founded in St. Georgen in Germany as a spring wound motor company. Dual commenced turntable production back in 1928 and has had many milestones throughout the twentieth century becoming the benchmark in motor design, tonearm construction, cartridge production, damping, suspension and bearing concepts which would be copied by many other brands. Dual also produced many complimentary hi-fi products in the hi-fi heydays of the 70’s and 80’s. Today, Dual has an extensive range of high performance turntables to suit most budgets.
